One of the oldest passions of humanity, still evolving in the twenty-first century, some subtle essences cannot be captured even using synthetics. For these finest of perfume ingredients, one must still grow fields of flowers and extract the scents in the natural way, using methods from the old French origins of modern perfumery, based in Grasse, France and originated by famous perfumers such as René le Florentin and El Alziary.

Perfumery is the art of evoking memory using the sense of scent.

Perfumery is, today, part advanced organic chemistry and part art, as the sense of smell is still not fully understood. Perfumery is more than just chemicals that make you smell, they are a rich connection to our history and the ways of living of our distant ancestors.
